ref. ID: 2025-01-01-01
The public consultation of the proposed subsidiary rules, Rules of Newcomers' Plots, has begun. The draft of the Rules of Newcomers' Plots is a proposed subsidiary rule to prevent abuse of newcomers' plots and simplify regional rules implementing regulations on newcomers' plots.
Rules preventing plot abuse have been enacted since the establishment of the first newcomers' settlement, the Plain Houses Area of Spawn County. This draft, in comparison to previous rules, changes the following:
- Designation of newcomers' plots is now done through the Gazette, solving the issue that designations were unclear.
- The tolerance time of unoccupied plots is extended from 4 days to 14 days, and the warning period is extended from 2 days to 7 days.
- Clarified the definition of unfinished (or apparently unfinished in earlier drafts) plots.
- Send a notification to the tenant of unfinished plots 14 days before taking them back and a warning 7 days before taking them back.
- Statutise legal customs such as sending warning emails to tenants and notifying taking back a plot.
This public consultation will end on 2025-01-22.
The draft and any future amendments are available at https://wiki-twi.1f616emo.xyz/s/k. Please give comments and suggestions on the draft if you have any concerns.
As a public consultation, this issue of the Gazette is sent to everyone.
