Express stations

Express stations serves express lines. They are often served by regional lines too.

Main stations

Main stations are express stations that are the region's largest or otherwise most important. They are usually capable of servicing multiple express lines. Every region, defined as having a regional rail system, should have at least one main station.

Complement stations

Complement stations are express stations serving express lines passing a region but not stopping at the main station. These stations usually exist when the main station is next to junctions. Regional lines often link up complement stations and their main station for interchanging lines.
