A subsidiary rule to prevent abuse of newcomers' plots, and to simplify regional rules implementing regulations on newcomers' plots.

Designation of Newcomers' Plots

  1. The server owner may designate any protection areas as newcomers' plots and may cancel such a designation at any time.
  2. The server owner may grant and revoke other players the right to designate newcomers' plots.
  3. Before selling a newcomer's plot, a sign must be set up to indicate that the to-be-sold area is a newcomer's plot.
  4. Appointments [sic] made according to the repealed Regional Rules of Spawn South and Regional Rules of SmushyVille are valid designations under subsection (1).

Taking back unused plots

  1. A sold newcomer's plot can be taken back if -
    1. It has been unoccupied for 4 consecutive days; or
    2. Builds on the plot are apparently unfinished, and the owner (and every co-owners) hasn't been online for 30 days.
  2. If a plot is to be taken back according to subsection (1) -
    1. The plot shall be transferred to the landlord;
    2. A mail should be sent to inform the owner (and any co-owners, if any) about the action;
    3. The amount the landlord sold the plot for shall be returned to them; and
    4. Any properties on the plot shall be returned to the owner.
  3. A warning email shall be sent at least 2 days before taking back a plot.
  4. This section does not apply to a plot if the owner is the landlord.
  5. In this section, the landlord is the player who built the plot, and the owner is the player who bought it from the landlord or any ex-owners.
