Acacia Plains is a county aimed at providing free space for newcomers.
History
The idea of shaping Acacia Plains into a free-to-build area can be traced back to early times. The earliest related textual record found dates back to 15 March 2024, when 1F616EMO said "It seemed impossible to shape Acacia Plains into a self-built house settlement".[1] Since then, Acacia Plains has been abandoned for a long time.
On 31 August 2024, 1F616EMO added a travelnet box at Spawn pointing to various free spaces, including Acacia Plains.[2] That travelnet box was later replaced with a teleport pad, providing direct access to Acacia Plains.
As of 2 October 2024, shiho had been working on the Oasis, the first settlement in Acacia Plains.[3] Later on 10 October, Elementalcraft started Oliville, a vintage-styled settlement north of the Oasis.[4]
Somewhere between 8 and 13 October, the Islands Line of Spawn Metro was extended to Acacia Plains as through service into the Central Line. On 13 October, the Oasis Line was partially in service, running between Acacia Plains to Oasis via Oliville.[5]
